Premium Decks is an owner-operated company in Fargo, ND that started operations in 2001. We specialize in all your decking and pergola needs. Not only are we a design-build company, but we also have a full-service decking lumberyard stocked with the top brands in the market.

Design
The owner, Zach Fluto, is the sole designer for Premium Decks. He has designed over 1,000 decks in the Fargo-Moorhead area. His deck and pergola designs have been featured in Inspired Homes, Design & Living, and the Fargo Forum. He uses design software that creates detailed blueprints and colored 3D imaging to eliminate all guesswork going into the project. Installation
Premium Decks has the most experienced and knowledgeable deck builders in the Fargo-Moorhead area. We are proud of the fact that each of our crew leaders has been with us for more than 11 years. With any of our installation crews, you are assured that your deck will be structurally sound, have precise finish work, and be constructed efficiently. We will be very considerate of your yard and landscape during construction and haul away all excess materials and debris when complete.
Estimating Process – Free of Charge
The first step is to find a convenient time to meet and discuss your future deck or pergola. This consultation can either be conducted at our showroom or your house. If it’s at our showroom, we recommend bringing a house plan and a photo of the house exterior and landscape for your upcoming project. If the consultation is at your house, we will take all of the necessary measurements at that time. During the initial meeting, we will discuss what you don’t like about your current situation, what you need out of your design, and the different product options available. After we share all of your thoughts and concerns, we will start designing. The turnaround on the initial design and proposal is usually 2-3 days.
The next step is to schedule a second meeting at our West Fargo showroom. This is a great opportunity to see all of the different material options available. We will have a detailed blueprint and 3D rendering ready to view. We will walk you through each line item on the proposal, which will have full descriptions of the decking boards, railing style, stairs, privacy fencing, etc. If you decide on additional design changes, we will send them via email. If the terms in the proposal are agreed upon, we’ll ask for a 20 percent down payment to schedule your project.
